Terms & Conditions
- Caregivers are required to complete our Cats Pyjamas Booking Form and provide current vaccination certificates at the time of checking into the Cattery.
- Guests must be vaccinated within the last 12 months against feline infectious enteritis (panleukopenia), Rhinotrachiitis (herpes) and calicivirus.
- Please note stand down periods for vaccinations ie: not less than 7 days prior to checking in and not more than 12 months prior to checking in.
- Kittens are required to have completed their series of vaccinations before checking into Cats Pyjamas Cattery.
- Guests must have been treated for fleas and worms within the last four weeks before admittance to the Cattery.
- If we see flea dirt in any guest’s room, or the presence of worms, the guest will be treated by us at a cost of $15 per treatment.
- NOTE: Please do not use a flea collar. Use a reputable product ie: Broadline, Advantage, Frontline or Revolution.
- Please advise Cattery management prior to checking in if the guest has any allergies to certain flea treatments.
Payment/costs
- A deposit of $50 is required to secure your booking at time of booking conformation, full payment is required at the latest at time of checkout.
- If you are booking over Christmas/New Years a 50% deposit is required at time of booking conformation, if booking is cancelled before the 31st of October, then a credit will be applied to your account at Cats Pyjamas Cattery. If booking is cancelled after the 31st of October, then there will be no credit or refund available.
- Payment options are cash, internet banking or our online booking system.
- Our Cattery does have EFTPOS and does not accept Credit Cards!!
- No credit card details are retained by Cats Pyjamas Cattery.
- If for any reason there are unpaid accounts, these will be liable for collection costs.
- No refunds apply for cancelled bookings.
Booking Changes & Cancellation
- Booking with Cats Pyjamas Cattery confirms you have read and accepted our full Terms and Conditions.
- Any cancellations or changes to non-peak bookings must be communicated in writing at least 48 hours before the date of arrival.
- Any cancellations or changes to PEAK DATE BOOKINGS must be communicated in writing at least 14 days before the date of arrival.
- Cancellation of a non-peak booking with less than 48 hours notice or a peak booking with less than 14 days notice will incur a $60 cancellation fee.
- Non- cancelled bookings are liable for full payment.
- During peak dates we will charge for dates booked if you check out before the due date, check in later or cancel your booking.
- Peak dates: December and January, Public holiday periods & school holidays.
Please Note:
- $40 fee applies for after hours check in and check out made by prior arrangement.
- $80 fee applies if you arrive after hours without an appointment.
- $5 per day fee applies to administer any medication required.
Opening Hours
- Monday – Friday: 9:00am – 11:00am & 4:00pm – 5:30pm
- Saturday: 9:00am – 11:00am Closed Saturday afternoons
- Sunday: 9:00am – 11:00am & 4:00pm – 5:30pm
The Cattery is closed on Saturday afternoons, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Christmas Eve afternoon, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day and the 2nd January.
Please note: Check out is the morning after your last night stay with us. Late check out will incur a full day charge. ie: If you are checking out Sunday afternoon, a full day will be charged. Please consider this when booking.
CHRISTMAS
Our Cattery will be open for check in/check out Tuesday morning 24 December 2024 9am-11am and closed Christmas Eve afternoon, opening again on Friday 27th December 2024 between 9am-11am.
We are closed for check in/check out Christmas Day and Boxing Day 2024 and New Years Day, and the 2nd January.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS WHEN PLANNING YOUR BOOKING DATES!
There is no surcharge for public holidays.
Viewing of our hotel is available by appointment.
We appreciate you respecting our privacy and keeping to the opening hours where possible.
Refusal of Booking
Cats Pyjamas Cattery reserves the right to refuse a booking if management considers the guest unsuitable for boarding.
Management may also refuse a booking for any caregiver or caregiver’s nominee who has a history of cancelling bookings at short notice or delays any outstanding payments due.
Check In and Check Out
- Guests should be bought to the cattery in a suitably secure cat carrier. Cats Pyjamas Cattery takes no responsibility for the loss, injury or death of any cat where this advice is not observed.
- All guests are accepted into our care on the understanding they are in good health and any current or prior health conditions are communicated to us prior to admittance. We reserve the right to refuse admission to any guest appearing to be unwell or thought to be suffering from any illness or infectious disease.
Authorisation for Veterinary Treatment
In leaving your cat in our care, you therefore authorise us to seek veterinary intervention should we deem it necessary, and to act in consultation with the Vet on your behalf in ensuring your pets wellbeing. Any guest under the care of Cats Pyjamas Cattery, the caregiver agrees to the following statements:
- I give permission for Cats Pyjamas Cattery to access my cat’s veterinary records and/or test results pertaining to the period of this booking.
- I give permission for the Cattery or vet to administer worm/flea treattments if necessary.
- In the case of suspected illness or injury I give consent for a veterinary consultation and investigations such as blood tests or X-rays to be performed where necessary.
- I give permission for the Cattery staff to administer any prescribed treatments the vet considers advisable.
- I agree to pay any veterinary expenses incurred along with the boarding fees and transportation charges to and from the vet ($35 one way within 30km of Cats Pyjamas Cattery or $55 one way within 50km of Cats Pyjamas Cattery) in full at the time of collection.
**I also give consent for euthanasia – should this be necessary and recommended on humane grounds by the veterinarian caring for my cat – but only after first consulting with me if contactable, and/or my contact person if contactable.
**In the unfortunate event a guest should pass away whilst a guest at Cats Pyjamas Cattery the caregiver or caregivers contact person will be notified and asked for further instruction as to their wishes for the guest.
Unclaimed or Abandoned guests
Any guest left at the Cattery for 10 days in excess of their booked check out date without any contact from their caregiver or nominee, will be classed as abandoned.
In this event Cats Pyjamas Cattery reserve the right to make suitable alternative arrangements for the guest.
Any outstanding Cattery costs and any additional costs incurred will be pursued in full.
General information
We have an on call vet 24/7 should any guest require attention.
The Cattery features an isolation unit separate from the main hotel. This unit offers a secure examination room should any guest require veterinarian assistance. Guests requiring the use of this room will continue to have individual sleeping quarters with their own beds, litter tray and food bowls. Should any guest require to be isolated, there is no extra charge for this.
Cats Pyjams Cattery accepts no responsibility or liability for illness, injury, death or loss for any reason whatsoever.
Feeding
Cats Pyjamas Cattery chooses to provide the Royal Canin diet range to our guests.
Should any guest be on a prescription diet, caregivers are asked to supply their own food. We do not offer a discount of Cattery rates if you provide your own food.
